France(Home) & Scotland (Away)
I'm not sure we can win both matches this weekend and I think we will play our better side against France. We'll normal France and possibly TNT Scotland. We'll see.
I think a forward based game will work against France with creative, expansive was largely ineffectual and Drift is a favourite of France.

France will ruck aggressive and give loads of penalties away, kick to the corners play a huge front row and hope they give away enough penalties in their own half
Re: France(Home) & Scotland (Away)
Intersting stuff , Looks very even , could driving be a good idea if there gonna drift yeh?

With a mobile pack P&G the life out of them, I suspect there is nobody with a pack as mobile as ours, driving is just matching strength V strength and all top NT sides are evenly matched there
Re: France(Home) & Scotland (Away)
really i would of suspected the opposite , Man on Man defence again?

Re: France(Home) & Scotland (Away)
Driving is effective to get go forward within certain field positions but at some point the ME just halts the bloody thing and if you have a high % it'll just reform and go nowhere, linebreaks are key - P&G, Creative and Expansive create linebreaks easier
Re: France(Home) & Scotland (Away)
So we will be going for a game with a little more driving this time, this is to try and target the French sides weakness which is in their defence, of drift, aswell as their pack which despite it's weight is not great. They have a very good backrow, better than ours so that's another reason not to try and go for a wide game, we'll leave ourself open to losing the ball by turnover.

While only speculating I reckon Jay had to do something to get the new star ratings as NZ and USA should have posted more than purple stars earlier

Tough result, Scotland got their tactics perfect. Time now to win this bloody tournament
Re: France(Home) & Scotland (Away)
So my Monday game was played 100% P&G both teams (based on the rucks won recently England seem to be going high P&G) My defence was MOM and MB was Rush, based on the final score and previous games between us, MOM seems to be as effective as any defence! P&G is hugely effective at retaining possession, so I'm thinking upwards of 35%, 40% I'd suggest as something to think about! Creative is then the big bang attack I think, 40% also - 10% expansive and 10% Driving.
Re: France(Home) & Scotland (Away)
sure im sick of telling mouse to play more P&G at this stage

We need to try something different as they're going to have the advantage in this one, so let's go with this
Aggressive and MOM aswell.

Didn't work out so well when we've tried it before, plenty possession no territory however I think with two tall props we can gain an edge in the lineouts which we can take advantage of with high kciking.

Based on our previous game and Wings high P&G we need to starve him of the ball, England TNT & Home means we are the underdogs so we have to change it up,
